I’m finding that the more people I meet, the more people I talk to that are buying or have bought Real Estate in Arizona. Either the person I meet is buying or they know someone who has bought. This wave of Canadians buying Real Estate in Arizona is spurred on by the good Canadian dollar, as well as a huge drop in the U.S. housing market.

I think it is important to find the right realtor down there as well. Not all realtors like working with short sales, which is probably 80% of the market. As well, many realtors don’t understand all the pitfalls that Canadian buyers have to go through.
