It’s still a spotty housing market but in some areas it seems to be moving along quite steadily. I just had out of town buyers looking in Cloverdale at some new houses. We booked 25 homes to show in one day. Although we did only get into 17 houses, it is a record for my career! This meant that there was more than a 30% sale to listing ratio. The two days that we were looking had 3 other offers come in on the remaining 17 homes.

I wouldn’t say that this specific market area is on fire, but the activity shows a steady pace. I reiterate my sentiments from a previous blog. I would love it if the market as a whole was steady like this. Then either Buyers or Sellers’ egos wouldn’t get out of hand and properties would sell in a reasonable amount of time. Buyers wouldn’t have to make a decision in minutes. “The universe would be as one…”
